Wings & Radicles CICJoin the beekeeping revolution!
Would your organisation benefit from working with Wings & Radicles?
“Our mission is to make the craft of beekeeping more accessible and diverse by providing educational programmes that are inclusive and promote positive well-being and fun.”
When founder Rachel, dreamt up the concept of Wings & Radicles, she wanted to use her platform to address the following issues: supporting local biodiversity, advocating for improving mental health and wellbeing and diversifying the disproportionate representation of beekeepers in the UK.
Rachel believes that the lack of diversity with the craft of beekeeping stems from a number of factors, including low socioeconomic status and unconscious and/or conscience bias toward minority groups.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC) and social enterprise, Wings & Radicles can provide free, educational beekeeping workshops.
Wings & Radicles wants to work together and connect with other social enterprises and charitable organisations whose values align with our own. Our primary aims include, but are not limited to:
- To work with underprivileged or marginalised groups, in order to diversify the demographic of beekeepers within the UK
- To create a safe, inclusive and fun learning environment
- To contribute to improving the quality of a person/s mental wellbeing
- To help to support the growth of the bee population and tackle environmental concerns
If you feel that these values are reflected in a group you are involved with, and that they would benefit from Wings & Radicles CIC Beekeeping Workshops, fill out the contact form below to get in touch. We look forward to collaborating with you!
NB: Wings & Radicles CIC receives financial support from funders in order to facilitate free workshops for eligible groups. As a grassroots company with limited staff, please be aware that we are currently only able to accommodate a small number of groups at any given time. Candidates will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis.
